It’s been a wonderful week last week with the Flash and Arrow crossover, and now it’s time to keep that momentum going. The CW has already given us an interesting cliffhanger for the midseason finale of The Flash, and now it is the Arrow’s turn to deliver on its own shocking cliffhanger.

Major spoilers ahead, so turn away if you don’t want to face the wrath of Ra’s al Ghul.

Okay, let’s start off with the cliffhanger from the episode. I’ll let Stephen Amell tease you guys for a bit.

Okay, he’s teasing his fans that he’s no longer a part of the show. In the midseason finale, “The Climb,” we see Oliver Queen go up against Ra’s al Ghul, the leader of the League of Assassins, in a death match. They fight, and Ra’s was able to deliver a bloody blow. After that shocking moment, we see Oliver fall to his “death.”

We all know that Oliver isn’t really dead. So the question is, how will he come back from this?

In the comics, Ra’s al Ghul is able to live a long life, thanks to the Lazarus Pit. In last night’s episode, he mentions his age, indicating that he’s a lot older than he looks. This is a big clue that he may have used the Lazarus Pit. Since it’s a pit that can bring the nearly-dead back to life, this seems like the logical conclusion in bringing Oliver back to life.

Maseo, one of Oliver’s trainers and friends during his time away from Starling City, is now working with the League of Assassins. He said that he didn’t want to see Oliver die. This would indicate that he might be the reason how Oliver will survive. My theory, and probably many others, is that he’ll recover the body and bring it to the Lazarus Pit, thus bringing him back to life.

Do you think this is a possible scenario? What are your thoughts?
